Istanbul Cooking Class
Learning about a country’s cuisine is a great way to get an insight into its culture, and Turkish cuisine is no exception. With a legacy from the Ottoman kitchen, and influences from as far afield as Armenia, Iran, Greece, Lebanon, Georgia, and even China, reflecting its rich history, Turkish cuisine relies heavily on fresh produce and the artful use of simple herbs and spices. Savour your memories of Turkey at home and immerse yourself further in Turkish culture with a half day Turkish cooking class.
You will be picked up from your hotel between 8.15-9.00am depending on its location, and then driven to a local hotel where the cooking class will be held in the kitchen.
Instructed by an acclaimed local chef, during this four-hour class you will work to prepare a delicious five-course meal of traditional Turkish dishes, and then enjoy it together in the hotel’s rooftop restaurant with a stunning view of the famous Blue Mosque.
You will also be given recipes of the dishes that you prepare so that you can re-create them back home.
